Mountains & Volcanoes

“Great things are done when men and mountains meet,” said William Blake, the great poet. “This is not done by jostling in the street.”

Nowadays there’s far too much jostling on social media and far too little devotion to peak pursuits -- hence this collection.

Mountains nourish our appetite for adventure, while reminding us to approach all great challenges with humility. After all, that mountain we set out to conquer might turn out to be a violent volcano!
